Background & Purpose

The COUNCIL OF INDEPENDENT CHURCHES IN SOUTH AFRICA (CICSA) is a Christian Federation in South Africa, comprising various denominations, churches, fraternals, and other Christian federations. Guided by its founding Biblical text in Isaiah 41:13, CICSA serves multiple spiritual and societal purposes. It is dedicated to advancing the message of Jesus Christ, fostering unity among believers, and addressing pressing social issues.

Promoting Unity Among Christians

Foster unity among different Christian denominations, encouraging collaboration and shared mission efforts while respecting doctrinal differences.

Advocating for Social Justice
